Safestor® – Self storage insurance

SafestorPondLogo_largeSafestor provides the broadest coverage and lowest premiums so you can have peace of mind knowing that your goods will be replaced should there be an unfortunate occurrence while they are in storage.

Purchasing protection is optional. However, you are required to maintain insurance covering your goods for as long as they are in storage at a U-Haul facility.

Benefits for you, the customer.

We offer low-cost coverage packages designed specifically for your goods while stored in a U-Haul facility. We also provide a convenient pay with your rent program, so there is no additional forms to fill out or to mail.

If your goods are worth storing, they are worth protecting. While U-Haul takes precautions to provide a clean, dry and secure environment to store your property, we are not responsible for damage. Please don’t assume that you are covered and be sure to check with your insurance carrier in regards to coverage.
